So...Valentines Day. Now, if I didn't have the love of my life already, I don't know how I would feel about this "holiday". Don't get me wrong, I'm all for love and crap, but come on. I think it's fun for the kids, but for grown-ups, it's a bit contrived and commercialized. I admit, I enjoy making things for this holiday, but find that most people are buying the items for the little ones or friends. It's not a big romantic gesture because the calendar tells them it's supposed to be. It's fun for the kids, and should be kept that way. Don't take it all too seriously. Lighten up. It's Valentines day.
